Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Supervise all production operations in the Packhouse</li>
<li>Ensure 100% of outbound ingredients are of top quality and free of any QA/QC issues</li>
<li>Implement production activities schedules </li>
<li>Monitor and supervise the packhouse staff and handle their attendance </li>
<li>Ensure food health and  safety  standards are well practiced in the Packhouse</li>
<li>Report the staff level needed for smooth sorting and packing operations</li>
<li>Ensure packaging technical specifications are observed in the packing activities.</li>
<li>Prepare reports on operations and reporting  on daily bases to the Director, East Africa. .</li>
<li>Manage storage facilities and maintain the equipments for proper utilization</li>
<li>Supervise  processes and identify inefficiencies that can be removed in Packhouse production activities.</li>
<li>Accomplish any other reasonable responsibility given by supervising team members.</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1 years of demonstrable experience in production,logistics or supply chain management.</li>
<li>At least 1 year of food safety experience</li>
<li>University degree or advanced work experience in logistics, supply chain management, project management, business management or other related fields.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and ability to speak and write in English fluently.</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership skills, strong work ethic and unimpeachable integrity.</li>
<li>Readiness and ability to regularly perform under pressure and within short timeframes.</li>
<li>Readiness to travel anywhere in East Africa and sometimes work odd hours to match US time zones.</li>

Food Safety Packhouse Officer

Overview: Sourcing Coordinator
As our Sourcing Lead, you will report to the COO in conjunction with the Director of EA while also working closely with the sourcing team. You will lead Agricycle’s sourcing intelligence to grow our network of smallholder farmers and coordinate the supply, negotiation and purchasing of a wide range of over 200 ingredients.
Using your analytical and strategic skills, you will strengthen Agricycle’s supply chain to provide reliability and widen our benefit. You will coordinate a robust database of smallholder farmers to facilitate this.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead Agricycle’s sourcing intelligence in EA and map all agricultural activities in EA countries.</li>
<li>Communicate to the sourcing team in EA for sourcing requests from outside buyers with immediacy.</li>
<li>Identify and evaluate sources for over 200 ingredients from smallholder farmers across EU Countries.</li>
<li>Direct Sourcing Officers to train FLs on purchase of ingredients from evaluated smallholders.</li>
<li>Enforce procurement policies and procedures while negotiating supplier relationships.</li>
<li>Develop innovative ways to minimize supply risks with smallholder farmers in Agricycle’s network.</li>
<li>Coordinate a robust database of producers alongside qualifications, prices, volume, lead times, etc.</li>
<li>Analyze the database and develop action plans to reduce costs and improve sourcing processes.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Agricycle’s global team across sales, operations and impact on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Any other reasonable responsibility given by supervising team members.</li>
