What you will do:
<ul>
<li>Support the local sales managers in the development and implementation of the local channel marketing plans for Consumer, Business and Vertical business areas, aligned within the business strategy. Work closely with sales teams to ensure effective channel plans are created and implemented.</li>
<li>Develop local channel marketing materials if required using centrally created creatives and work with approved local marketing communication agencies, ensuring that all materials are on message, on brand, on time and within budget.</li>
<li>Ensure all locally produced materials are approved by central marketing at concept and final stage.</li>
<li>Check translations of centrally produced marketing communications materials including promotions, advertising, brochures, POS, and PR.</li>
<li>Communicate central plans and materials throughout the local organisation.</li>
<li>Provide local requirements (e.g. localization &amp; print quantity) for all central marketing collateral.</li>
<li>Provide feedback on centrally planned materials</li>
<li>Ensure that all promotional initiatives and activities provide a good ROI.</li>
<li>Drive and develop local PR &amp; social media strategies, campaigns, and initiatives with the support of local agencies to improve the public perception of Epson in line with business objectives.</li>
<li>Work with the central PR team on the planning and implementation of PR and social media activities.</li>
<li>Produce local case studies following the agreed approval process and amplify to the media</li>
<li>Co-ordinate locally agreed central sponsorship activities.</li>
<li>Develop and implement an events plan (channel and end user) which may include roadshows, exhibitions, corporate hospitality, channel, and internal staff events.</li>
<li>Work with the Webmaster and Digital Marketing Specialist to create and execute channel marketing emails for local promotions/channel incentives, competitions &amp; product launches.</li>
<li>Plan, manage and accurately forecast strategic and channel marketing budgets to ensure value for money and agreed ROI.</li>
<li>Ensure all activities have agreed KPIs</li>
<li>Provide consolidated reports on marketing activities, KPI’s and expenditure to the Manager, Marketing Services</li>
</ul>
What we ask for:

<li>Degree level qualification in Marketing, Business, Management, or related subject</li>
<li>Fluent English speaker with excellent written English.</li>
<li>Strong experience in all areas of marketing, with a good understanding of the local market.</li>
<li>Previous experience working in a matrix organisation, ideally within a comparable industry.</li>
<li>PR and Social Media experience, including managing agencies locally.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate well with peers and senior management.</li>
<li>Confident at running large group meetings and adapting your style to the audience.</li>
<li>Excellent planning and organisation skills</li>
<li>Commercially and financially aware with experience managing/co-ordinating costs within defined budget.</li>

Marketing Services Specialist – East & West Africa

As an Account Manager in the Business Sales division of Epson, you will develop and implement the business sales plan for designated customers/partners to generate business growth and maximise sales of Epson products.

Key Responsibilities
Sales:
<ul>
<li>Promote the complete Epson range to increase Epson sales growth into specific reseller and end user markets.</li>
<li>Set and achieve quarterly targets for aligned accounts and defined product range.</li>
<li>Develop and execute a sales plan for optimal customer portfolio management.</li>
<li>Account planning with aligned channel partners in order to identify and qualify new opportunities for growth.</li>
<li>Collect sales out data from channel partners in order to identify key target end users for Epson sales activity.</li>
<li>Maintain an opportunity pipeline for key end user business. Pass opportunities in defined verticals to vertical/product specialists and pass other opportunities to account managers.</li>
<li>Maximise opportunities from corporate account managers and specialist vertical account managers.</li>
</ul>
Channel Marketing:
<ul>
<li>Agree and review quarterly business/marketing plans while identifying new marketing opportunities.</li>
<li>To identify, manage and execute promotional campaigns within specified accounts appropriate to customer and Epson business needs.</li>
<li>To track ROI of promotional campaigns run in conjunction with partner.</li>
<li>Ensure optimal implementation of generic Epson marketing campaigns within aligned accounts.</li>
</ul>
Communication and Reporting:
<ul>
<li>Follow and monitor the forecasting process for the assigned market and provide the utmost accuracy by supporting EEB/EMD with the relevant information and "enrichment".</li>
<li>Collate competitive market place information. Provide structured feedback and input to promotional activities with this knowledge.</li>
<li>Manage the development and implementation of the CRM initiative, as required.</li>
<li>Maintenance of Epson Partner Programme. Review qualification criteria with partners and ensure criteria are met. Meet targets on number of signed partners.</li>
<li>Present regular reports as detailed in KPIs. Reports will include but not be limited to portfolio reports, opportunity reports and Sales MDF ROI reports.</li>
<li>Identification of relevant customer case studies for onward use internally within Epson and/or external use.</li>
<li>Co-ordinate assistance from other support departments to provide resource, as required for the specified accounts.</li>
<li>Work effectively with end user vertical/specialist sales managers to optimise Epson’s sales.</li>
<li>Liaise with European team on management of any pan EMEAR opportunities or target accounts.</li>
</ul>
