About the role
As the Order Fulfilment Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the order-packing team in the online supermarket. Your main objective will be to ensure that all customer orders are packed and dispatched efficiently and accurately while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role is full-time and on-site in Regen, Kikuyu and reports to the Operations Manager.
Duties and responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Supervise the day-to-day order picking and packing operations, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and in full</li>
<li>Train and develop a team of packers, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance and productivity</li>
<li>Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment, including On Time / In Full (OTIF) performance, picking accuracy, and speed</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the team to implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, and maintain a clean and organized work environment</li>
<li>Collaborate with other departments such as inventory management, customer service, and transportation to ensure a smooth order fulfillment process</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>
<li>Experience in order fulfillment or related field</li>
<li>Experience supervising a team of 10 or more packers</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making</li>
<li>Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other software applications</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands</li>

Order Fulfillment Lead

Principal Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Being the gatekeeper of our website, and checking that at all times, it looks beautiful, has informative and exciting product descriptions and is 100% transparent about the source of all our products.</li>
<li>Processing supplier applications and vetting new products.</li>
<li>Helping organise product tastings for the team and / or specific customer groups for specific types of products.</li>
<li>Educating and informing our packing and logistics teams on new products coming in to the warehouse.</li>
<li>Conducting global research about what products are available and what we could bring to Greenspoon to excite and delight our customers.</li>
<li>Negotiating favorable trade terms with suppliers (margins, credit, delivery agreements)</li>
<li>Working closely with the CMO, as well as the Marketing, Procurement and Finance teams to make the onboarding of new products smooth.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS

<li>Bachelor’s Degree.</li>
<li>Interest in food, cooking, and Kenyan products.</li>
<li>Great writing skills.</li>

Product Analyst (Foodie)

Today we seek an Operations Manager who can drive the business forward as part of a rapid expansion plan. The Operations Manager reports directly to the directors of the company and is end responsible for all logistics operations. We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit that owns the processes, builds the team, and sets up the technology that we need to grow 10x in the coming 2 years.
The main areas are:
<ul>
<li>Warehouse management: organizing an effective and efficient warehouse system that facilitates timely and high-quality dispatch processes (e.g. traceability, batch management, accuracy)</li>
<li>Packing logistics: supervising the processes that allow products to be shipped in a way that they will arrive at the customer safely</li>
<li>Delivery logistics: making sure all deliveries are done in full (own and 3rd party logistics), in excellent state, within the projected time window communicated to the customer (especially frozen and fresh products)</li>
<li>Site management: making sure that the site runs well (electricity, water, masonry, racking, office space etc.)</li>
</ul>
We have many processes in place already: a working ERP, a daily quality report with detailed issue report and an amazing team with great team leaders. The Operations Manager will be mostly working to scale the operation further, enhancing processes and building the team further.
We need someone who is ready to facilitate the rapid growth we are facing and anticipating for the future. For this we require the following:

<li>The candidate can easily underpin operational decisions with its financial impact and drives cost efficiency</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s level</li>
<li>This is a senior role with a seat on the management team, so the candidate should be comfortable giving high-quality presentations to management and investors</li>
<li>We value mindset over experience, but a typical candidate should have around 10 years of relevant experience in fast-paced environments</li>
<li>Previous logistics management experience in food handling</li>
<li>Experienced in leading larger teams</li>
<li>Comfortable working with ERPs</li>
<li>Strong analytical mindset and Excel skills</li>
<li>Strong project management skills</li>
<li>Experience with LEAN, Kaizen or other continuous improvement methodologies</li>
</ul>

Operations Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
The Warehouse Analyst will be responsible for:

<li>Manage stock levels, ensure FEFO</li>
<li>Execute continuous stock take processes</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s level+ with excellent academic achievement</li>
<li>2-5 years work experience in warehousing</li>
<li>Experience in food handling (frozen, ambient, chilled) is a massive plus</li>
<li>Super analytical and communicative</li>
<li>Hyper structured</li>
<li>Excellent in working with Excel and ERP systems</li>
<li>Affinity with technology</li>
<li>Eager to learn.</li>

ROLE DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
The Product &amp; Sustainability intern is responsible for making sure that we source the best products from all over Kenya and is driving the sustainability agenda of Green Spoon and its suppliers.
You investigate what our customers are really looking for in our assortment. Then you connect with our suppliers to find out the latest innovations to sell on the Green Spoon platforms. You make sure that we have products in our special categories (vegan, gluten free, lactose free, halal, keto etc.). You own the day-to-day relationship with our suppliers and make sure that we build strong mutually beneficial partnerships. Also, you create our sustainability report, in which we track progress on carbon footprint, recyclability and community impact. Based on the report and latest technologies, you make recommendations on how to reduce our footprint.
