International Transformation Foundation (ITF), an international youth-led non-profit organization providing youth educational and self-development programs, encompassing leadership and entrepreneurship, to harness creativity for a youth system that provides jobs, offers security, opportunities to grow, and contributes to the development of our communities.The ITF is recruiting a board of Directors member of the following background:<ul><li>Technology &amp; Systems</li></ul>Responsibilities:The ITF board of directors is legally and ethically responsible for all activities of the organization. To that end it:<ol><li>Determines how the organization will carry out its mission through long and short-range planning.</li><li>Adopts an annual budget and provides fiscal oversight.</li><li>Hires and evaluates the performance of the Secretary General.</li><li>Establishes policies and strategies for the effective management of the organization.</li></ol>Other Responsibilities:<ul><li>Overseeing and guiding ITF’s strategy.</li><li>Holding the Secretariat accountable.</li><li>Offering wisdom and credibility to ITF.</li><li>Understand and promote the organization’s mission.</li><li>Attend board meetings and appropriate committee meetings.</li><li>Review agenda and supporting documents prior to meetings.</li><li>Participate in fund raising activities and special events.</li><li>Strictly adhere to conflict-of-interest policies.</li><li>Strictly adhere to confidentiality policies.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Between 25 – 35 years.</li><li>Experience leading a team or an organization (preferably a non-profit).</li><li>Being a representative of one of ITF’s donor organizations or target communities is an added advantage.</li><li>Having auditing, or other organizational investigatory expertise.</li><li>Evidence of commitment to integrity or an ability to inspire ethical behavior.</li><li>History of personal and career achievements.</li><li>Access to networks which could potentially be beneficial to ITF.</li><li>2-5 years of work experience in any of the following fields:</li><li>Technology &amp; Systems.</li></ul><h2> </h2>
