<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide Academic and Career Guidance assist university students in choosing courses, managing academic challenges, and planning career paths</li><li>Offer Personal and Social Counselling support students with personal issues, stress, anxiety, and social integration within the campus environment</li><li>Conduct Group Workshops and Seminars organize programs on study skills, time management, mental health awareness, and leadership development.</li><li>Conflict Resolution and Mediation facilitate resolution of conflicts among students, or between students and faculty, promoting a positive campus climate</li><li>Maintain Confidential Records keep accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions, interventions, and follow-ups</li><li>Crisis Intervention and Referral provide immediate support during student crises and refer complex cases to appropriate specialized professional services</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and skills</h3><ul><li>Master's degree in Counselling Psychology (or a related field) required</li><li>Ability to build trust, show empathy, and provide guidance to students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds</li><li>Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in student counselling, guidance, or a related educational support role</li><li>Membership with a recognized professional counselling body (e.g., the Kenya Counselling and Psychological Association – KCPA) required</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality</li></ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Teach and assess a minimum of four (4) courses per semester in accordance with the approved curriculum and academic calendar</li><li>Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with University standards</li><li>Set, mark, moderate, and submit assignments, tests, examination scripts, and final results within the prescribed University timelines</li><li>Conduct quality research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in academic seminars, workshops, and conferences annually</li><li>Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, departmental committees, student mentorship, and other duties assigned by University Management to support institutional goals</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and skills</h3><ul><li>PhD in Theology, Biblical Studies, or a related field from a recognized and accredited university</li><li>Proficiency in modern teaching methods, e-learning technologies, and academic supervision</li><li>At least three (3) years of university teaching, research, or ministry experience in Theology or Biblical Studies</li><li>Must be registered with the relevant professional body</li><li>Demonstrated record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals or other recognized academic publications</li></ul>
