Overall Purpose
The selected candidate will conduct market surveillance on a broad range of listed securities to maintain a fair, efficient and transparent market..
Key Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Carry out real-time surveillance of listed securities and provide an early warning alert on market irregularity detected.</li>
<li>Examine transactions showing irregular movements based on day-to-day surveillance of market movements and information obtained from various sources, including public and undisclosed information affecting listed security.</li>
<li>Monitor trading, order matching and ensure that stockbrokers/ ATS operators comply with the NSE Trading Rules.</li>
<li>Monitor and review print and electronic media reports and other relevant sources of information to identify securities requiring detailed analysis and investigation</li>
<li>Identify exceptions to usual patterns of dealing and recommend further investigations against market participants involved in dubious deals violating NSE and CMA laws, rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Identify people and early warning signs of unlawful conduct to prevent infractions and protect investors.</li>
<li>Assist the Surveillance Manager in the preparation of the daily surveillance reports and quarterly market surveillance reports.</li>
<li>Review and prepare preliminary reports on material announcements made by listed companies to ascertain compliance with the NSE's continuous reporting obligations;</li>
<li>Monitor and review manual and electronic newspaper reports, magazines, journals bulletin boards and other relevant information sources to obtain a list of stocks that have drawn major attention and concern to shareholders for detailed analysis and investigation.</li>
<li>Assist the Manager, Compliance &amp; Surveillance in reviewing and analysing the quarterly, interim and end-year financial reports of listed companies and Trading Participants for compliance with the Capital Market Rules and Regulations and the NSE Rules</li>
<li>Undertake financial analysis of financial statements submitted to the Exchange by listed companies and trading participants</li>

Competencies

Market Surveillance Lead

Overall Purpose
Ensure compliance by Market Participants and Listed Companies with the Rules and Regulations of the NSE and CMA; conduct periodic financial analysis of Listed Companies and Market Participants and ensure the maintenance of a fair and transparent market through continuous monitoring of Market Participants and Listed Companies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Analysing and reviewing the quarterly, interim and annual financial reports of Listed Companies and Trading Participants for compliance with the Capital Market regulations, guidelines, and the NSE rules;</li>
<li>Reviewing the applications to list on the official list of the Exchange for completeness and compliance with the CMA and NSE rules and regulations;</li>
<li>Carrying out an independent review of the valuation reports of companies intending to list on the Exchange to ensure the correctness of the valuation and basis of the proposed listing prices;</li>

Market Compliance Lead

Overall Purpose
The Senior Officer- Strategy, Risk and Compliance primary objective will be to conduct research to enable the NSE make informed decisions and identify opportunities for successful implementation of the Strategy. This role will have the overall responsibility of supporting in corporate strategy management, enterprise risk management, corporate compliance management, enterprise business continuity management, policy analysis, project monitoring/evaluation and research.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Officer - Strategy, Risk and Compliance

Overall Purpose

Accountant

Overall Purpose
Reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor, the Information Systems Auditor will give objective and independent assurance to management that the Information systems in place are appropriate, well utilized, reliable and secure while giving commensurate recommendations on areas of improvement and optimization of Information Technology.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist the Chief Internal Auditor in coming up with annual information systems audit plan;</li>
<li>Perform information systems audits in line with internal audit methodology, processes, procedures and timeframes;</li>
<li>Conduct quality assurance on systems at development and or off-shelve purchases;</li>

Information Systems Auditor

The job holder has responsibility for assisting in developing data products and its related policies, assisting in the management of key data clients and upselling data products to clients to ensure sustainable data sales revenue growth. Also responsible for supporting the daily operations in all asset classes to ensure settling finality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the data sales plan in line with the corporate objectives;</li>
<li>Promote and sell market data products to current client base in order to encourage trading activities in NSE and increase market data revenue;</li>
<li>Get insights into current global data vending standards and policies for in-house implementation;</li>

Overall Purpose
This position is responsible for business development as well as the management of risk as pertains to the Derivatives Market. The role holder must feel at ease generating revenue and working closely with various stakeholders to deliver products and solutions while also being comfortable pricing derivative products with a strong knowledge of market practices, risk measures and hedging practices.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Carry out risk and internal controls examinations and include reviews of the following areas: </li>

<li>Ensuring adequacy of resources and systems used for risk management and compensation or other incentives that may adversely impact independence;</li>
