You will join Novo Nordisk Middle Africa’s commercial organisation focused on improving access to innovative medicines for people living with diabetes and obesity. The East &amp; Southern Africa BD Unit has nine employees in six countries, spans a total of 24 countries and offers high‑impact commercial and development opportunities. You will work closely with the rest of the affiliate management team and cross‑functional partners to scale sustainable solutions across the region.

Your skills &amp; qualifications 
We are looking for a commercially driven leader who combines hands‑on field experience with the ability to lead at regional level.

Head of Business Development

Your new role

As our new Medical Science Liaison, you’ll act as a bridge between cutting-edge science and clinical practice. You will:

<ul>
	<li>Build strong, science-driven partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs), Payers, and other key healthcare stakeholders.</li>
	<li>Share expert knowledge and engage in high-level scientific dialogue across therapy areas including diabetes, cardiovascular, and obesity.</li>
	<li>Gather and communicate valuable field insights to shape Novo Nordisk’s strategy and enhance patient outcomes across East and Southern Africa.</li>

You hold a Medical Degre, which is a requirement for this position, and bring a solid scientific foundation to everything you do. Experience or knowledge in diabetes and obesity therapy areas will be a strong advantage.

Content and Promotions Specialist

​​​Main responsibilities will include:

	<li>Be the daily responsible for monitoring of WDF-funded project partnerships and programmes in 5-6 countries in the Francophone Africa region. The monitoring will follow WDF’s standard operating procedures and also include field visits, stakeholder meetings, etc., as deemed relevant, as requested by partners, and as requested from WDF headquarters.</li>
	<li>Prepare reports, advocacy, communication, and other formats of content, related to WDF-funded partnerships in the countries of responsibility and pursue opportunities for profiling of WDF.</li>
	<li>Engage in strategic discussions on the continued development of the Francophone African portfolio in WDF with colleagues and management and support both internal knowledge sharing at WDF and that project learnings are shared regionally and globally.</li>

Profile of candidate

	<li>The preferred candidate for the position holds an academic degree at master’s level within a field of relevance (e.g. public health/international health, political science/social science, development studies or related) and with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.</li>

WDF Programme Manager

The position

<ul>
	<li>As Legal, Ethics &amp; Compliance Manager, you will provide Legal Ethics and Compliance support to the Middle Africa Affiliate comprising 49 countries. </li>
	<li>You will manage complex and diverse issues of high priority and impact on Novo Nordisk, and will independently:</li>
	<li>Handle Legal and Compliance matters arising from business activities, including in areas such as engaging with Health Care Professionals, Corporate Governance, Contract Management, Data Privacy, Competition Law and Employment Law.</li>
	<li>Train internal and external stakeholders on legal matters including Contracts, Data Protection, Business Ethics, among other relevant areas of interest. Liaise with third parties serving the Legal Ethics and Compliance Department; ensure quality service delivery, review their terms of reference and retainer agreements, and assure compliance. Coordinate Company Secretarial activities for the Legal Entities within the Affiliate </li>
	<li>Implement global/regional Business Ethics &amp; Compliance policies and procedures and support the strong ethical culture of Novo Nordisk.</li>

Legal Ethics and Compliance Manager

The position
As a Multichannel Customer Engagement Manager, you will develop the MCE strategic plan for Middle Africa to deliver the right message, through the right channel, to the right customer, at the right time. You will plan and own campaigns/project development, execution and performance measurement and reporting to relevant stakeholders. You will create, update, and evolve MCE strategy, in alignment with Local, Regional and Global strategic imperatives. Lead and implement global digital projects.

<li>Ensure timely delivery of projects/tasks within budget and at best possible quality. Act as the subject matter expert for roll out of MC Hub in Middle Africa.</li>
