At Poa, we: Create a better world for the people we serve, Open our eyes to problems and opportunities, Never stop learning never stop moving forward, Name it, own it, solve it, Engage with the bigger picture even in the details, Care about each other and Tujienjoy kazini.Mission Statement for the Role:Responsible for delivering revenue and customer growth targets within the assigned geographical territory.Area Coverage:Nairobi West: Congo, Waithaka, Kawangware, Kibera, Kikuyu road and Kinoo.Role Responsibilities: <ol><li>Identify and engage with potential customers in your assigned territory and build strong customer relationships.</li><li>Conduct daily sales visits and develop a sales funnel of potential customers.</li><li>Represent Poa! brand professionally and enthusiastically when educating customers on our product and ensure 100% adherence to the prescribed sales process.</li><li>Meet and achieve the monthly sales targets set for the role, with guidance and support from the line manager.</li><li>Maintain good attendance, consistently use the required systems, and submit daily sales activity reports accurately and on time.</li><li>Manage customer relationships during the incubation period by minimizing delinquency and churn within your assigned territory.</li><li>Observe and share relevant market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to support informed decision-making.</li><li>Provide structured field feedback on existing and proposed products and solutions to support product improvement and development.</li><li>Support engagement with landlords and property managers and develop positive working relationships within the assigned territory.</li><li>Participate in coaching, training, and other learning activities designed to build the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for success in the Field Sales Representative role.</li></ol>Academic Qualifications required:<ol><li>Certificate, Diploma or degree in a relevant field.</li></ol>Key competencies required for the role:<ol><li>Strong communication &amp; negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections and close deals.</li><li>Self-motivation and resilience: A relentless attitude, and go-getter mindset with the ability to find new ways and creative ways to attract and convert customers.</li><li>Good work planning capabilities to allow for forecasting and building a credible pipeline of potential clients.</li><li>Demonstrate strong collaboration skills, working effectively within the team and across cross-functional departments to achieve shared objectives.</li><li>Exhibit high levels of discipline and consistently adhere to company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.</li><li>Experience selling home internet services or working with low-income and informal communities will be an added advantage. </li></ol>Mandatory criteria with no exceptions to hire:<ol><li>Show strong will and passion for sales and be able to own and deliver sales targets, in a business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) set up.</li></ol>What’s In It for You?<ol><li>A monthly retainer and highly- rewarding commission structure – We believe in rewarding top performers and have a competitive commission structure in place: The more you sell, the more you earn!</li><li>Additional company benefits: Airtime allowance and transport allowance.</li><li>Career growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding company.</li><li>Exciting work environment and Culture with a dynamic, supportive team. </li></ol> "We encourage Women and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) to apply"
