Job Purpose 
Serena Hotels is seeking to fill the position of IT Services Specialist, based in Kenya. Under the direction of the Country IT Manager, the IT Services Specialist is responsible for the provision of first-line ICT support to fellow Associates and hotel/safari lodge guests, including ensuring the optimum and efficient utilization of IT resources, with minimization of downtime to maximize user output and achieve organizational goals. The scope of work entail all Information, Communication and Technology infrastructure, hardware, and software systems in use by Serena Hotels within the sites under mandate.
Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li> To provide user support in the use of hardware and software, including Guests’ ICT services.</li>
<li> To ensure the smooth operation of all ICT equipment within scope.</li>
<li> To ensure data integrity, data security and proper data organization on all user workstations.</li>
<li> The upkeep, maintenance and security of IT equipment including management of anti-virus software on computer workstations.</li>
<li> To ensure the availability of comprehensive and updated documentation concerning equipment under scope.</li>
<li> Troubleshooting of all user hardware and software problems on workstations and peripherals.</li>
<li> Installation of software on workstations and configuring them to the network as per ICT policy.</li>
<li> Configuration and deployment of ICT Hardware including Computer Networks devices.</li>
<li> Assist in the enhancement of ICT Systems and the optimal application of existing systems by helping user departmentsidentify systemsimprovement and enhancement needs.</li>
<li> Assist to ensure optimum user skills by identifying users training gaps and conducting and coordinating training on user applications.</li>
<li> Assist in ensuring Data Backup procedures as per ICT policy.</li>
<li> Work travel on short notice to remote sites to execute ICT technical duties as might be required from time to time.</li>

Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience required:

<li> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related discipline</li>
<li> 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar position</li>
<li> Working knowledge of Computer Networks</li>

MAISHA HEALTH CLUB MANAGER – POLANA SERENA HOTEL -MOZAMBIQUE

We are currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Maisha Health Club Manager –Polana Serena Hotel Mozambique whose responsibilities will be as outlined below:-
Position Summary: -
The Maisha Health Club Manager position will be responsible for profitable operation of the hotel's spa, gym, and wellness facilities, oversee the Maisha spa associates, manage daily operations, ensure the delivery of exceptional gym, spa and swimming pool services to guests and members, marketing,&nbsp;
budgeting, and maintaining high-quality standards of operations in line with the Maisha Spa brand reputation.
Responsibilities;
• Direct and lead the day to day Maisha Health Club and Spa operation ensuring all standards conform to the outlined Maisha SOPs.
• Ensure team members are familiar with all areas of the Maisha operation Gym, swimming pool, spa treatments, product knowledge and retail sales
• Manage all financial aspects of Maisha Health Club including: Memberships, sales revenues, and product and labor costs.
• Participate in preparation of Maisha budgets&nbsp;
• To ensuring productivity and expense controls are followed to maximize revenue opportunities
• Submit monthly report requirements, including revenue reports and audits
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns with unit Sales and Marketing executive to support membership and treatments growth for both local clientele and in-house guests
• Compile and distribute existing sales collateral to entice prospective members and hotel groups
• Maintain thorough knowledge of competition; including location, product offering, pricing, promotion and sales techniques.
• Constantly monitor key performance indicators for the department your department and take necessary actions to bring them in line with t budgets
• Develop and execute strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
• Responsible for all equipment servicing, cleanliness of all Maisha facilitates, and maintenance
• Develop and manage all fitness programs and act as the Hotel's champion of Wellness for members .
• Explore networking opportunities including attending trade shows, boot camps, members’ meetings etc.
• Assist in the recruitment, development, training and coaching of associates.
Minimum Qualifications;
• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, health and fitness for a recognized institution or a related field.
• (ITEC Diploma) in Beauty Therapy &amp; Aesthetics, A diploma in Beauty Therapy from a Recognized Institution.
• CPR and first aid certification
Experience Required;
• Proven 3-5 years’ experience working in a 5-star health club and spa establishment with management experience.&nbsp;

Maisha Health Club Manager

Key Job Roles and Responsibilities:

<li>Managing a team of sales executives</li>
<li>Responsible for Corporate, MICE and leisure sales for the Hotel.</li>
<li>Understanding of the Hotel’s Revenue generation strategies and setting goals to determine action plans to meet those goals.</li>
<li>Developing action plans for the sales team quarterly.</li>
<li>Identifying new markets and business opportunities to increase sales for the Hotel.</li>
<li>Represent Hotels in various trade events and exhibitions.</li>
<li>Plan, execute and oversee all sales and promotional activities for the Hotel effectively.</li>
<li>Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection visits to the Hotel by prospective business suppliers</li>

Sales Manager

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our Marketing and Communications Team in the position of Marketing and Communication Manager whose responsibilities will be as outlined below: -
Roles and responsibilities
The Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible for developing, planning and implementing Serena Hotels East Africa’s Marketing and Communications strategies and activities through measurable results that ensure enhanced brand awareness, client loyalty and ultimately increased sales.
The suitable candidate will report to the Regional Sales and Marketing Director and is required to work closely with other team members in the Sales and Marketing Department to champion content and digital marketing strategies across a range of proactive, reactive and strategically planned opportunities in events, digital media including website and traditional/social media and other marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Content Management
· Responsible for the process of content creation in line with the business goals and objectives, and the management of the same.
2.Digital Marketing and Social Media
· Develop and oversee the successful implementation of the corporate digital marketing strategy.
3.Events and Exhibitions Management
· Assist in the development and implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns designed to generate sales
· Responsible for management of Corporate events, functions and exhibitions
4.Communications and Public Relations
· Responsible for developing the company’s communication and PR strategy and execution of the same.

The following qualifications/experience are preferred:

The role is a regional one, and will be based at the Head Office in Nairobi with travel to other towns in Kenya and the East Africa region where Serena Hotels have properties.
