None of this is possible without disciplined financial management behind the scenes: every tree planted, every farmer trained, and every carbon credit certified depends on funds moving correctly, transparently, and on time.About the RoleAs Venture Finance Officer for Venture Kenya, you'll be the person who makes sure money in the venture moves the right way — in, out, and everywhere it needs to be tracked. You'll review payment requests against approved budgets, oversee a small team handling receipts, disbursements, and record-keeping, and make sure every transaction has the paperwork to back it up. Day to day, that means checking that incoming funds were logged and protected the moment they arrived, approving payments once you've confirmed invoices are in order, chasing down any missing documentation before it becomes a bigger problem, and pulling together monthly financial reports for the Country Director and Holding Finance.
