Terms of Service: 3-year contract

Remuneration: Consolidated salary of Ksh. 30,000 per month

Requirements for Appointment

1. A valid driving license free from any accidents and valid for any of the classes of vehicles which the officer is required to drive.
2. Suitability Test for drivers
3. Mechanics training will be an added advantage
4. At least five (5) years’ working experience.
5. Must have demonstrated disciplined lifestyle, outstanding professional competence and integrity in work performance and results.
6. Must be pleasant and disciplined with the ability to work with different groups of people
7. Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution
8. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Driving motor vehicles as authorized
2. Safety of the passengers and/or goods therein
3. Maintenance of work tickets for vehicles assigned
4. Carrying out routine checks on the vehicles’ cooling, oil, electrical, brake systems and tyre pressure
5. Detecting and reporting malfunction of vehicles
6. Ensuring security of the vehicle on and off the road;
7. Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
