Bancassurance Sales Representatives

Job PurposeThis role is focused on driving insurance sales, business development, and customer retention through the bank's bancassurance channel. The position is responsible for increasing insurance penetration among the bank's customer base by identifying new business opportunities, cross-selling insurance solutions, and implementing sales initiatives that support revenue growth. Working closely with bank staff and key stakeholders, the role also involves strengthening customer relationships, improving retention through tailored insurance solutions and exceptional service, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.This is a fixed-term contract role, renewable based on performance. It offers a fixed monthly retainer complemented by a performance-based commission structure, providing a stable income while rewarding strong sales performance, business development, and customer retention.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy (80%)Drive the sales of insurance products within bank branches/segmentsProvide customers with comprehensive insurance consultations and solutions.Monitor and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies accordinglyCollaborate with management to develop and implement marketing campaigns.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.Support the Segment/ Regional teams to ensure that insurance business is done ontime, and through SBM Bancassurance Intermediary LimitedDrive insurance penetration into the customers databaseCustomer retentionCompliance (10%)Ensure all regulatory requirements are met by ensuring compliance to the insurance act and SLA’sEnsures review and escalation if required of Sales administrative issues.Responsible for compliance with business procedure manualsEnsuring all claims are reported, tracked and resolved as per SLA by COEEnsure compliance with Snap checks process and internal audit.Business fulfillment (10%)Ensure all premiums are collected from all sales as per laid down procedures in accordance...
