Job Purpose

To provide lead in business development through marketing and recruiting of customers, processing and disbursement of title deed loans and ensure timely collection of the same to ensure a healthy portfolio.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the title deed loans to achieve company-wide disbursement targets
  • Management of key clients relationships and networks
  • Making follow-up on the accounts with court cases in liaison with the legal team involved in a manner that ensures successful closure
  • Ensuring all targets allocated in the department are effectively met
  • Create an effective credit scoring model on title deeds loans
  • Give direction on the day to day operations to other branch personnel in satellite branches in regards to title deed loans business growth
  • Initiate and organize external affairs to increase the company credit’s visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities
  • Maintain a quality loan book with increased profits and reduced non performing accounts
  • Maintain healthy clients relations to facilitate growth in clients base and increase retention of existing clients by ensuring quick turn-around time on title deed loans
  • Oversee operations in the title deed loan sales and loan handling to ensure compliance with credit and operational guidelines and procedures
  • Follow up new business opportunities and setting up meetings with an ultimate view of increasing client base
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
  • Follow up on industry trends locally and internationally and advise management from time to time

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Diploma holders with vast sales management experience will also be considered
  • 5+ years of sales and management experience in title deed loans segment in a fast-paced commercial environment, with an impressive track record in sealing business deals
  • Sales experience in a niche market or are eager to spearhead innovative strategies to sell a ‘one of its kind’ service in the market
  • Ever professional capable of making the right impression and are always focused on delivering
  • Passionate about growth; love setting and beating sales targets
