Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in development of policies and plans in the department;
  • Co-ordinate the implementation and management of the general administrative function;
  • Ensuring effective service delivery;
  • Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community;
  • Provide and maintain infrastructure and facilities;
  • Facilitate and coordinate citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services;
  • Set, monitor and evaluate targets for staff in the department;
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
  • A minimum four (4) years of relevant work experience;
  • Successful applicant to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity;
  • Have demonstrated managerial, administrative and professional competence in work performance and results.
