REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

For appointment to this position the person:

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
• Must be a holder of at least a first degree in a relevant field from a University recognized in Kenya.
• Must have knowledge, experience and a distinguished career of not less than five (5) years in the field relevant to the portfolio of the department to which the person is being appointed.
• Must be conversant with the Constitution of Kenya and demonstrate understanding of Devolved Governance.
• Must have the capacity to conceptualize current county potentials, opportunities and challenges for strategic action.
• Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the County Development Objectives.
• Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
