Fixed Term Service Point Advisor - Kalokol

Role Context

• The job holder is responsible for revenue generation from Turkana and its environs by profiling and engaging fish traders, fish exporters, find fish markets and fish buyers to ensure the Power UP Your Potential (PUYP) on fish commerce objectives are met and the Fish project is attained.

Key responsibilities

•  Proactively identify fish commerce opportunities by engaging fish traders through Fish commerce Power Up Your Potential objectives to trade in the desired International markets
•  Organizes onboarding sessions virtual/physical for continual discussion and additional input to support Fish commerce objectives
•  Engage in finding fish markets by being an advisor to the fish traders/fish exporters and potential fish buyers on fish commerce. Commerce opportunities
•  Prepare Fish commerce progressive report that will be shared with the Retail Manager on a daily basis on Fish
•  Ensure that all shipment DHL picks meet the requirement for export to include handling, export documentation and packaging to the standard
•  Accepts fish shipments and prepares the air waybill on POS, plan and manage transport from Kalokol to Lodwar and sends alert to NBO to expect the shipments(s)

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

•  Tertiary Education or related work experience in related discipline
•  0-2 years of experience in related field
•  Entry level professional contributor
•  Understands fundamental concepts, objectives and provide committable conduct to deliver expectations
