Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will join the core Data Analytics track with a focus on Independent Execution and Automation. You will be responsible for managing routine reporting cycles, translating requests into data solutions, and actively contributing to the team's knowledge base.

This role is designed for a professional who demonstrates high technical competence and is ready to grow their autonomy in building dashboards and automating workflows.

1. Data Analysis & Insight Generation

• Routine Reporting: Independently manage routine reporting cycles to ensure stakeholders have timely access to performance data.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Translate simple to moderately complex data requests into clear answers for the Product and Sales teams.
• Trend Identification: Analyze data to identify basic trends and patterns that help operational teams make better daily decisions.

2. Analytic Systems Development (SQL & Automation)

• SQL Development: Independently write and optimize moderately complex SQL queries to extract data from our warehouse.
• Foundational Automation: Develop Python scripts to automate routine data validation tasks and reporting processes, moving the team away from manual work.
• Documentation: Own and maintain data documentation (definitions, sources, transformations), aiming for an 80% completion rate on assigned documentation tasks.

• Data Modeling: Contribute to data modeling by defining relationships and writing basic DAX measures.

Qualifications

Educational & Professional Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (Fresh graduates to early career professionals).

• SQL: Proficiency in writing SQL queries (joins, aggregations, basic subqueries).
• Power BI: Experience creating visualizations and writing basic DAX.
• Python: Foundational knowledge of Python (specifically Pandas) for scripting and basic data manipulation.
• Excel: Strong proficiency in Excel for quick analysis and validation.
