Role Purpose

The job holder will be responsible for building, overseeing, and maintaining positive relationships with brokers to ensure clients receive the best service and experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans for the channel and identify business opportunities to support overall growth plans. Monitor the effectiveness of the strategy, identify opportunities and areas for improvement, suggesting and implementing approved corrective measures.
  • Execute a sales plan focused on delivering new and recurring revenues through partnerships.
  • Driving revenue growth and performance of the broker channel.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all account management matters for the selected channel partners, as well as act as a trusted advisor for these partners.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with broker partners, managing and resolving any issues that may arise between partners and the Company.
  • Driving key decisions and alignment with internal stakeholders to support the channel growth.
  • Developing and implementing broker training programs.
  • Analyzing market trends and data to determine areas of improvement. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments.
  • Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities with brokers.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams such as sales and product development to ensure broker needs are met.
  • Ensuring broker compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
  • Providing regular performance reports to management.
  • Communicating Company updates and news to brokers in a timely manner.
  • Staying UpToDate wit industry trends and regulations to ensure the company remains competitive.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related course.
  • Insurance Professional qualification.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and packages.

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role.
