For appointment, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Information Science, Records Management, Library Science or equivalent qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya.

Duties and responsibilities 

  • receiving, filing, retrieving and dispatch of records and information;
  • coding and indexing of files as stipulated in the records management manuals;
  • storing and retrieving of the Commission’s records;
  •  tracking of files and documents;
  • appraising and updating records for retention and disposal; and
  •  identifying and reporting potential risks pertaining to records management
