The role serves as a key link between Underwriting, Sales, Claims, Credit Control, and Intermediaries to ensure seamless service delivery, while also identifying new business opportunities in the health insurance sector, driving sales growth, and building long-term, trust-based client and partner relationships.1. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESA. Retention & Renewal ManagementManage the renewal cycle and ensure terms/notices are issued by the 15th of each month for SME and 60 days in advance for Retail renewalsMaintain and update the renewal trackerConduct daily follow-ups with intermediaries via calls, visits, and emailsConfirm renewals and obtain renewal instructionsParticipate in renewal meetings with intermediaries and clientsSupport credit control through renewal premium collection and confirmation.B. Relationship ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for intermediariesMaintain strong relationships to ensure maximum retention of profitable accountsHandle and resolve customer and intermediary concerns promptlyConduct quarterly and monthly performance reviews with key partners for SME.C. Portfolio GrowthIdentify selling opportunitiesConduct market research to identify new SME and retail prospectsAnalyze market trends, competitor activity, and client needsDevelop proposals, presentations, and product demonstrationsSupport sales planning and execution with the Head of RetailLead contract negotiations and close dealsD.
