What You'll Do?

• Handle Bank reconciliation activities, including posting of payments and reconciliation of general ledger balance to bank statements for Tala Globally.
• Support the accounting team with standardized roles ie Balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Support Month_close processes.
• Handle Ad-hoc Accounting projects
• Handle 2-3 countries full-on month end close process.
• Understand local tax filing requirements.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field
• 4+ years experience in the accounting and finance sector
• CPA K registered with ICPAK
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP (added advantage)
• Understand local tax requirements
