Tax Manager

Airtel Africa is seeking for a highly experienced and commercially minded Tax Manager to oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, reporting, tax audit management and tax strategy for our Kenyan Group entities. The resource would also be responsible for monitoring and coordinating tax compliance and tax risk register management across the 14 African markets in which Airtel operates. The successful candidate will also support cross-border transactions, co-ordinate transfer pricing matters, and will be part of the Group Tax TeamKenya Tax Compliance & Reporting Tax ComplianceManage and ensure the timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of all Kenyan statutory tax returns, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT)Ensure full compliance with Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) requirements, including eTIMS/TIMS obligations and related tax regulations.Tax AdvisoryProvide expert tax advice on: Business operations and transactions, Intercompany arrangements, Corporate restructurings and Tax implications of commercial initiatives and strategic projectsTax Audits & Dispute ResolutionServe as the primary point of contact with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).Lead and manage: Tax audits, Investigations, Objections, Appeals and dispute resolution processesCoordinate with external tax advisors and legal counsel where required.2.
