TIBU Health is seeking an UI/UX designer to help build and improve on its logistics side of the company. You'll work with a team of frontend and backend developers to collect, research, investigate and evaluate user requirements so as to deliver an outstanding user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive application design. You will be designing ideas using various methods and latest technology. As an UI-UX Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
A little about us
TIBU uses technology to connect Africa’s poor, low, and higher-income populations to high-quality private outpatient healthcare in real time and at affordable cost. We decentralize primary outpatient care (including labs and diagnostics) to keep service costs low and convenient for the patient while enabling health workers to operate their own practices without the prohibitive capital investments associated with opening a traditional healthcare practice. Our platform equally digitizes patient health data and streamlines insurance claims to put the patient in complete control of their healthcare.
What you’ll do here:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders
- Develop overall user experience, interaction design and information architecture for technology and business initiatives at the level of detail and rigor needed by those who must base their work on the design.
- Use a variety of analytical techniques to gather and analyze design requirements (e.g. interviews, facilitated workshops, surveys, site visits, use cases, workflow analysis, observations, etc.)
- Creating site maps, flows, wireframes, prototypes and design specifications; analyzing usability test results; and developing user experience design briefs.
- Build a world-class User Experience solution that supports the needs of TIBU.
- Gather and incorporate requirements and feedback from multiple stakeholders
- As requested, facilitate ideation and user journey building breakout sessions
Here are some things that spark our interest:
- At least 4 years of experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role
- UI design portfolio
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to discuss and explain design options
- Detail oriented
- Critical thinker
- Problem solver and customer-centered
- Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver
- Extensive experience with HTML5 & CSS3
- Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
