The role is on contractual basis and reports to the Branch/Sales Manager.KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESDelivery of business plan targets including Revenue, Persistency and Business MixRecruitment and retention of AgentsEffective monitoring and evaluation of agents in their respective unitsSetting out relevant plans and daily activity work schedule for the unitEnsure agents have the necessary support systems to assist them deliver their budgetsImplementing training programs to support skill development and competence.Opening new marketsAdvise the business on opportunities/threats that are presented by such activities.Enforcement of performance management processes as specified by the businessTo uphold the brand image and ensure compliance with all internal as well as external regulationsSKILLS AND COMPETENCIESExcellent Communication skillsStrong Negotiation skillsEmphatic ListenerAble to Plan and organize meetings and activities for the UnitAble to build and bond together a teamMust have leadership ability and Sales and Marketing skillsMarket intelligence and business development skillsAble to handle and resolve ConflictsTime Management SkillsKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEA successful track record of selling in the financial services sector, teaching or any other relevant professionDemonstrable insurance sales experience as an agentKnowledge of legislation governing insurance in KenyaProficient in the use of Microsoft office suite and packagesQUALIFICATIONSA Degree/diploma in a business-related courseMust have at least 3 years’ sales experience in...
