As of 2024, Save the Children operates throughout Kenya & Madagascar with 10 field offices, approximately 450 staff, managing portfolio of USD 40million. In 2023, we directly reached more than 780,000 people through our humanitarian and longer-term development work in Health, Nutrition, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Child Protection and Child Rights Governance. The Country Office oversees more than 45 active awards totaling $40 million from a variety of governmental and institutional donors, including some of our largest donors such as USAID, ECHO, EU, LEGO, BHA, and FCDO.ROLE PURPOSE: The post holder(s) will provide necessary support to the WASH Officer in implementation of quality WASH programme-WASH constructions, NFIs, Hygiene promotion and Upscaling WASH’em services in communities targeted by Save the Children in the region of Garissa/Wajir/Mandera/Tana River. The post is specifically oriented towards the WASH emergency response in the context of the crisis Elnino preparedness, and special attention will be made ​​on the integration of the WASH sector in other core sector of Save the Children such as nutrition, food security, health, education and child protection.Reports to: WASH OfficerStaff directly reporting to...
