<p>Madison Life Assurance Kenya Limited, a subsidiary of Madison Group Limited, is a well-known provider of life assurance, group schemes and pension administration in Kenya. The Group also provides through two other subsidiaries, general insurance underwriting as well as fund management services.</p><p>The Company is recruiting for the position of <strong>Senior Supervisor – Pensions Administration</strong> reporting to the <strong>Manager – Pension Administration. </strong> The job holder will be based at its Head Office in Madison House, Nairobi.</p><h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ol><li>Oversee the end-to-end administration of a portfolio of pension schemes including onboarding, contributions, benefit payments, and exits.</li><li>Verify and approve complex fund updates, scheme valuations, member statements, and regulatory filings.</li><li>Authorize escalated withdrawal requests and high-value transactions within the set approval matrix.</li><li>Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and support internal/external audits.</li><li>Lead and coordinate trustee and member meetings, AGMs, and training sessions.</li><li>Prepare and review quarterly and annual scheme performance and compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.</li><li>Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance oversight for junior staff and scheme supervisors.</li><li>Drive innovation through automation of operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients, intermediaries, custodians, and regulators, to resolve complex scheme matters.</li><li>Contribute to the preparation of scheme-specific board papers and performance dashboards for leadership review. and</li><li>Other duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager from time to time.</li></ol><h4>Academic and Professional Qualifications required</h4><ol><li>Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.</li><li>Professional qualification in retirement benefits, insurance, marketing, or business development (e.g, FRSI, CPSP, AIIK, CPAM, CIM).</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pension administration with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.</li><li>Strong understanding of the Retirement Benefits Act and the regulatory framework in Kenya.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ol><h4>Key Competencies</h4><ol><li>Proven leadership and team management skills.</li><li>Advanced technical competence in pension administration.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.</li><li>High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct <strong>. </strong></li></ol><p>Qualified candidates are requested to forward their CV and Cover letter to hr_recruitment@madison.co.ke not later than <strong>10th September 2026 </strong> stating the Role as the <strong><em>Subject</em></strong> of the email.</p><p>Your privacy matters to us at Madison Group Limited, as part of our hiring process your personal data will be processed in line with our Recruitment Privacy Notice, which is available at https://www.madison.co.ke/careers/.</p>
