About the RoleThis role involves the transportation of the raw materials around the factory.Responsibilities<ul><li>Loading/Unloading: Move raw avocados from trucks to the warehouse for ripening.</li><li>Transporting: Move fruit to various factory stages to keep the processing line running.</li><li>Forklift Operation: Operate the forklift safely and keep it in good working condition.</li><li>Maintenance: Perform equipment repairs and report any machinery issues to supervisors.</li><li>Safety Adherence: Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures at all times.</li><li>Stock Tracking: Help with inventory counts and tracking fruit origin (traceability).</li><li>Coordination: Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth daily operations.</li><li>Process Improvement: Suggest more efficient ways to organise and run the warehouse.</li><li>Safety Implementation: Apply food safety standards throughout the entire processing cycle.</li><li>SHEQ Compliance: Follow all health, environmental, and quality rules during your shift.</li><li>Meetings &amp; Audits: Participate in food safety meetings and official inspections.</li></ul>Career Growth and DevelopmentWe have a strong culture of constant learning and we invest in developing our people. For this role specifically, you will have:<ul><li>Certified forklift operator with a valid driving license and 3+ years of manufacturing experience.</li><li>Expert knowledge of Food Safety (FSMS), Environmental, and Occupational Health &amp; Safety (OHS) standards.</li><li>Strong analytical skills used to identify root causes and perform maintenance to meet operational targets.</li><li>Detail-oriented team player with excellent time management and communication skills to support production flow.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and effective team collaboration.</li></ul>
