<h2>About One Acre Fund</h2><p>Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. Close to 500 staff in our Kakamega headquarters support 1,747 field staff and serve more than 1 million farmers. In Nairobi, around 50 staff support global functions like procurement, recruitment, government relations, and communications.</p><h2>About the Role</h2><p>Seeking a professional with 2+ years’ experience to lead retail operations. You will use your sales expertise to manage teams, deliver exceptional service, and drive impact. Proficiency in Google Suite, English, Kiswahili, and a tertiary education.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Achieve sales, repayment and impact targets for your zone.</li><li>Manage multiple channel performance through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary, and serve as the primary contact for all zonal performance.</li><li>Provide technical support and training to Duka Assistants and Field Agents by setting up and facilitating weekly meetings.</li><li>Define and manage work planning for Duka Assistants and Field Agents</li><li>Oversee and execute inventory ordering, data entry and merchandising.</li><li>Oversee the control environment at the Duka</li><li>Actively build your teams through hiring, training and performance management</li><li>Supporting planning and implementation of promotion programs for your zone.</li><li>Assist customers in understanding their needs, articulate key differentiators and typical customer buying journeys, and generally display a passion for our program.</li><li>Support your team to create sales opportunities for customers</li></ul><h2>Career Growth and Development</h2><p>We have a strong culture of constant learning and we invest in developing our people.
