Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Understand the study design and objectives to assist in the successful implementation of the study testing activities</li>
	<li>Screen, recruit, and consent study participants</li>
	<li>Offer HIV testing to study participants in the clinic setting as per the MOH algorithm</li>
	<li>Intervention delivery (at baseline enrollment and via SMS messaging)</li>
	<li>Implementation of study questionnaires and standard operating procedures,</li>
	<li>Follow up participants for retesting in the study</li>
	<li>Participant endpoint ascertainment, and training facility staff on study requirements</li>
	<li>Provide information and support to study participants</li>
	<li>Communicate with the Study Coordinator and other HODs regularly on study progress</li>
	<li>Ensure compliance to protocol and procedures for the study</li>
	<li>Ensure accurate and timely reporting of HIV testing progress as per study protocol</li>
	<li>Works in a professional and ethical manner with competence, accountability and integrity</li>
	<li>Other duties as assigned by the Study Coordinator</li>
</ul>

Vacancy Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>Diploma in Social Sciences, Public Health, Counselling, Community Development or related fields    Mandatory</li>
	<li>Computer proficient with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.    Mandatory</li>
	<li>Must be keen and attentive to details and have ability to follow instructions and procedures properly.    Mandatory</li>
	<li>Excellent written and verbal communication required.    Mandatory</li>
	<li>Must be non-judgmental and flexible to mix with all cadres of people    Mandatory</li>
	<li>Prior knowledge of HTS provision is desired    Mandatory</li>
	<li>Must have good interpersonal skills, flexible and a team player.    Mandatory</li>
	<li>Training on current HIV testing algorithm is an added advantage.    Added Advantage</li>
	<li>Ability to ride a motorbike, with possession of a valid riding license will be an added advantage.    Added Advantage</li>
