<h2>Job Title/Designation</h2><p>Community Health Worker - Migori, Homa-Bay, Kisii and Kisumu</p><h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Collection of accurate information from the study participants in line with the standards and guidelines set in the study protocol</li><li>Schedule and prepare a work plan of follow up visits and reminders for study participants</li><li>Report back to the supervisors on the Study related adverse events</li><li>Ensure that all the relevant case report forms (CRFs) are administered appropriately and all questions asked during the interviews</li><li>Check their questionnaires for accuracy and completeness at the end of interviews</li><li>Keep clean and comprehensive records of study visits and their outcomes</li><li>Conduct debriefing with the study participants at conclusion of interviews</li><li>Adhere strictly to the project deadlines for completion of duties assigned</li><li>Use motorcycles to carry out Study related activities as assigned by the supervisors</li><li>Responsible for the security, maintenance, and renewal of motorcycle license</li><li>Remind participants of upcoming visits</li><li>Conduct home visits of participants who don’t attend regularly scheduled visits</li><li>Attend all the weekly meetings in time and report on progress of work</li><li>Must be a team player</li><li>Any other assigned/ delegated duties by the Deputy Study Coordinator</li><li>Fill-in for site staff members when necessary</li></ul><h2>Vacancy Requirements:</h2><p># Description. Requirement Type 1 Diploma in the following fields; Community Health and Development, Nutrition, Social work or relevant qualification from a recognized Institution Mandatory 2 Able to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid motorcycle riding licence Mandatory 3 Proficiency in computer application Mandatory 4 Must be able to write brief reports and keep records Mandatory 5 Excellent communication and organizational skills Mandatory 6 Three years of working experience as a counselor Mandatory 7 Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills Mandatory 8 Must be able to work in a professional and ethical manner with competence, accountability, and integrity Mandatory 9 Ability to foster trust and open-communication with study participants Mandatory 10 Good problem solver and communicator Mandatory 11 Experience in participants follow-up/tracing Mandatory 12 Experience working with infants Mandatory 13 Experience in HIV Counseling Mandatory 14 Experience with data entry Mandatory 15 Have worked in a research environment Mandatory</p>
