Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician

Position Summary

To ensure the Hospital Air Conditioner and Fridges/Cooling systems are well maintained, and in serviceable condition

Main Duties

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on all hospital air conditioners and fridges/cooling systems to ensure they are in serviceable condition
• Undertake basic repairs of all Air Conditioners and Fridges defects reported daily and during inspection such as UPS, & theatre air conditioners
• Carry out periodic checks and inspections of all hospital Air Conditioners and Fridges and Generator to establish all repairs and maintenance required
• Recommend materials and supplies for requisition within the workshop stores necessary for efficient delivery of services
• Ensure tidiness and safety of workstations and sites within the hospital
• Checking availability of medical gases within hospital & replacing them as necessary

Required Qualifications for the Position

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years’ experience
• Technical Understanding
