Key duties and responsibilities

Healthcare engagement promotion

  • Visit targeted HCPs regularly to promote child nutrition products and provide scientific detailing.
  • Educate HCPs on the benefits, usage guidelines, and nutritional content of products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and pediatric networks.

Scientific Education and training

Territory Management

  • Conduct and support medical education activities such as CMEs, roundtables, webinars, and in-clinic sessions.
  • Ensure scientific claims and communications align with internal and local regulatory guidelines.
  • Support product launches with medical training sessions for HCPs.

 

Market intelligence and reporting

 

  • Gather insights from HCPs about child nutrition trends, concerns, competitor activity, and product feedback.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Category Manager on territory performance and insights.
  • Recommend strategies to improve product positioning based on field learnings.
  • Develop and execute a territory action plan with clear coverage targets.
  • Ensure visibility of company materials and samples in compliance with medical marketing guidelines.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure aligned messaging and outreach.

Compliance & Ethics

  • Operate in full compliance with WHO Code, local laws, and Company policy on marketing breast milk substitutes (BMS).

Working relationships

Internal Relationships: Sales, Marketing, Supply chain and Finance

External Relationships: Local Authorities, medical associations/bodies

Requirements

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in medical sales or healthcare engagement, preferably in pediatrics or nutrition.
  • Strong understanding of child health, nutrition science, and clinical detailing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • May involve occasional weekend events (e.g., CMEs or pediatric conferences, etc)
