Key Responsibilities:

• Adhering to good clinical practice within a research environment
• Developing standard operating procedures related to research studies
• Collecting data and managing study participants
• Obtaining informed consent, maintaining confidentiality, and handling study data in accordance with ethical standards
• Performing any additional duties assigned to support project operations

Requirement Type 1 Diploma in Community Health Nursing and midwifery, Diploma in community health and development, Diploma in Nutrition, social work or related fields Mandatory 2 One to five (1- 5) years of post-college graduation Mandatory 3 Willing to live and work in Migori Mandatory 4 Passionate about maternal and child health and community health Mandatory 5 Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills in research in human subjects Mandatory 6 Should be willing to gain research skills while being mentored together with other interns in the project. Mandatory 7 Nurses MUST have a valid practicing license and be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya Mandatory 8 Be a Kenyan youth below 30 years of age. Mandatory 9 Should have graduated and obtained the relevant final certificate. Mandatory 10 Provide a Certificate of good conduct. Mandatory 11 The Interns will be expected to take up a personal accident cover and medical Insurance cover.
