Senior Lecturer, Literature

Key Responsibilities    

• Initiate and propose development of client driven programs,
• Develop the teaching materials, teach, and mentor both the undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Set, moderate and mark examinations for both the undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Participate in the development and preparation of annual departmental and school plans
• Supervise educational activities/projects/thesis
• Assess industrial attachments for both the undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Attend and participate in seminars/workshops/conferences in relevant fields
• Supervise dissertations/theses at the graduate level.
• Development and Review of curriculum

Qualifications and skills    

• Hold a PhD degree or its academic equivalent in the relevant field
• Hold a Master of Arts Degree in Literature from recognized University
• At least three (3) years of University teaching as a lecturer
• A minimum of thirty two Publication points of which at least twenty four should be from refereed journal papers
