Job Purpose

The job holder is responsible for:

<ul>
	<li>Driving branch performance against key performance standards as communicated and agreed with the head of business segment in areas such as; Balance sheet growth (funded and non-funded lines) sales growth &amp; income contribution, cost performance, credit management, employee satisfaction, customer experience &amp; Operational risk &amp; control management.</li>
	<li>Providing the right leadership to branch staff and inculcate a high-performance culture at branch level.</li>
</ul>

Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Prospect for new business from new and existing clients.</li>
	<li>Prepare call reports with recommendations and submit them for approval.</li>
	<li>Drive branch business performance by achieving growth in performance parameters.</li>
	<li>Monitor branch sales performance and portfolio growth to meet targets.</li>
	<li>Identify business improvement opportunities and suggest service enhancements, product improvements, and process changes.</li>
	<li>Understand local business drivers impacting branch performance. </li>
	<li>Submit weekly activity reports including business acquired and customer issues. </li>
	<li>Analyze financial statements, assess credit requests, and present findings and recommendations to approvers.</li>
	<li>Manage collateral registration process and ensure timely securities perfection. </li>
	<li>Oversee excess drawings and loan arrears to maintain asset quality. </li>
	<li>Ensure branch service excellence through monitoring and resolution planning. </li>
	<li>Build a motivated branch team, ensure compliance, and monitor operational performance while maintaining high service standards.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications and Competencies:

<ul>
	<li>Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science or related field Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies/ Publication.</li>
</ul>

Relevant professional qualification:

<ul>
	<li>Member of a relevant professional body.</li>
</ul>

Work Experience Required:

<ul>
	<li>Over Ten (10) years’ relevant experience with over Three (3) years in management in a similar organization.</li>
	<li>Strong leadership skills.</li>
	<li>Executive disposition. </li>
	<li>Demonstrate high levels of integrity.</li>
	<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
