The Hospital seeks to attract qualified and experienced candidate for the following position in the Human Resources Department: HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER OVERALL RESPONSIBILITYReporting to the Senior Manager - Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting timely delivery of human resource plans, data management, and operations in the assigned Business Units. <ul><li>ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support effective implementation of human resource policies, plans and procedures.</li><li>Support in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy.</li><li>Participate in realization of people processes of talent recruitment to ensure optimal capabilities.</li><li>Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan as well as participating in functional and cross-functional initiatives.</li><li>Provide Human Resource advisory services to the Heads of Departments, Managers and Supervisors in the Business Units assigned across a breadth of areas including talent management, employee development, performance management, employee relations and change management.</li><li>Assist with labour initiatives through ensuring compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements as well as the Hospital’s rules and regulations.</li><li>Develop and monitor regular statistical information regarding workforce requirements, staff turnover, leave, absence etc.</li><li>Ensure that leave plans are in place and are adhered to in consultation with Heads of Departments.</li><li>Maintain an efficient and effective filing system for HR documents, including the filing of staff files and data management.</li><li>Monitor and submit monthly probationary report and share with supervisor a month before the probation end date.</li><li>Support payroll administration.</li><li>Maintain contract expiry dates and update the supervisor one month in advance.</li><li>Keep track of all active staff in employment and process separations of those whose contracts will not be renewed/terminated.</li><li>Assist in the induction and orientation process of new staff; ensuring that new staffs are well versed with the various human resource policies such as the human resource manual and the code of conduct.</li><li>Ensure that staff have relevant licenses and that all other documentation relating to their profession are valid and updated to ensure compliance with required standards and regulatory needs.</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any other business-related field from a recognized institution.</li><li>Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) qualifications or Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.</li><li>Membership of Institute of Human Resources Management.</li><li>Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a HR generalist preferably in comparable institution.</li></ul>

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILICTIES:<ul><li>Take overall responsibility for the bus assigned.</li><li>Ensure the bus is chaperoned to leave the Academy.</li><li>Ensure health, safety, and welfare of each passenger.</li><li>Pick up and drop off students, staff, and visitors at the scheduled stops</li><li>Deliver and collect goods, letters, documents, and equipment as required by Academy management</li><li>Keep vehicles' exteriors and interiors clean,</li><li>Check the condition of the vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment, etc., as per the Daily Vehicle Check List.</li><li>Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs</li><li>Update and maintain mileage in the vehicle logbook.</li><li>Any other reasonable and relevant duties assigned by the line manager.</li><li>A Valid PSV certificate and Driver's License (Class B, C, E)</li><li>Be at least 25 years of age.</li><li>Health assessment and physical examinations, including vision and hearing assessments</li><li>Updated in First Aid and Kenya Traffic Laws.</li><li>At least 3 years’ experience driving a bus.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of vehicle operation, basic mechanics, and routine maintenance checks.</li><li>Skilled in defensive driving techniques and maintaining safe distances in various traffic and weather conditions.</li><li>Proficient in adhering to all traffic laws and federal/local transportation regulations (e.g., hours of service, load limits).</li><li>Thorough understanding of efficient route planning to minimize time and fuel consumption.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service abilities when interacting with clients, dispatch, or regulatory officials.</li><li>Integrity, reliability, and accountability in handling cargo security and maintaining delivery schedules.</li></ul>
