Job Overview:

The Intern – Growth and Acquisition will support the team in acquiring new agents, driving sales efforts, and managing agent accounts. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to learn about customer acquisition, sales strategies, and account management in the insurance industry. The intern will contribute to the team’s efforts to expand Agencify’s footprint while ensuring exceptional agent satisfaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Acquisition

<ul>
	<li>Assist in identifying and researching potential agent leads using various tools and platforms.</li>
	<li>Support the on-boarding process for new agents by coordinating documentation, setting up accounts, and scheduling training sessions.</li>
	<li>Help automate parts of the agent application and verification process to ensure efficiency.</li>
	<li>Gather feedback from new agents on the on-boarding process to identify areas for improvement.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that attract new agents to the platform.</li>
</ul>

Sales

<ul>
	<li>Assist in preparing sales presentations and pitches for prospective agents.</li>
	<li>Support the sales team in following up with leads and tracking their progress through the sales funnel.</li>
	<li>Contribute to the development of promotional materials for new product categories.</li>
	<li>Monitor competitor activities and trends to identify opportunities for differentiation.</li>
	<li>Help organize and participate in agent recruitment events, webinars, and workshops.</li>
</ul>

Account Management

<ul>
	<li>Act as a point of contact for newly on boarded agents, addressing their initial questions or concerns.</li>
	<li>Track and analyze agent activity and platform usage to identify engagement patterns.</li>
	<li>Assist in implementing strategies to improve agent retention and satisfaction.</li>
	<li>Support the creation of agent feedback loops by collecting input and sharing insights with relevant teams.</li>
	<li>Work with the product team to propose solutions to recurring agent issues.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications:

<ul>
	<li>A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.</li>
	<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
	<li>Proactive, organised, and eager to learn.</li>
	<li>Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles is an advantage.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with CRM software or data analysis tools is a plus.</li>
</ul>

	<li>Feedback from agents and team members on collaboration and responsiveness.</li>

Sales Representative Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES

<ul>
	<li>Vendors short-listing &amp; on-boarding. </li>
	<li>Products cataloging. </li>
	<li>Market research. </li>
	<li>Product pricing. </li>
	<li>Marketing plan development </li>
	<li>Price negotiation. </li>
	<li>User requirements and product matching. </li>
	<li>All other assigned duties in supply chain.</li>
</ul>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

<ul>
	<li>At least a B Plain in KCSE/ High school.</li>
	<li>At least a college certificate/ diploma.</li>
	<li>Training/experience in retail/financial accounting /marketing will be an added advantage.</li>
</ul>

SKILLS &amp; REQUIREMENTS

<ul>
	<li>Must have a background (training/experience) in any of the following technical fields (computing, electronics &amp; appliances, phones &amp; tablets, networking &amp; telecom, security &amp; surveillance, health &amp; medical, power &amp; electricals, office &amp; school supplies, sports &amp; fitness, industrial supplies, automotive, building and construction)</li>
	<li>Proficiency in spoken and written English (will be tested)</li>
	<li>Proficiency in word processing &amp; spreadsheets. (will be tested)</li>
	<li>Advanced in online research.</li>
	<li>High integrity.</li>
	<li>Self-driven</li>
	<li>Marketing and/or accounting skills will be an added advantage.</li>
</ul>

STIPEND/REMUNERATION 
 
Ksh. 10,000 Per Month + Commission
